BIG STAR: THE NICK SKELTON STORY is the official all-access documentary of one of the most decorated and enduring equestrian champions the world has ever seen.

 

Crashing into the British showjumping scene during the heyday of the sport in the 1970s, Nick Skelton dominates the competition until he breaks his neck in an unlucky fall. Doctors tell him to quit riding, but he refuses to give up. He makes an against-all-odds comeback and pursues his elusive dream of winning an Olympic gold medal with the help of his once-in-a-lifetime horse Big Star.

 

The film includes interviews with Nick’s family, friends and leading showjumpers from around the world.
